Veröffentlicht wurden seine Fotos in nationalen und internationalen Magazinen und Zeitungen. Reportagen führten ihn nach Russland, Kasachstan, Indonesien, Cuba und durch Europa. Er arbeitete unter anderem für KPMG, Deutsche Post, Tchibo und Nicht-Regierungs-Organisationen (NGOs) wie Greenpeace, Christian Aid und Attac. Gordon leitet Fotoworkshops und war Jurymitglied verschiedener Fotoawards in Deutschland und den USA. Von 2000 bis 2003 war er Mitglied im Journalistenbüro Spot und studierte 2003/2004 Fotojournalismus am London College of Communication. Seit 2006 wird Gordon von der Agentur laif vertreten. Auszeichnungen 2010, FreeLens Award for Young Photojournalism, as one of 60 photographers from around the world, I´m nominated for the Award with my story "Geh, meine Schöne"
